Our From Me to Brew fundraising event is certainly not just for the summer months. Oh no. There’s something lovely about coming together during the colder months to enjoy a warm cuppa, slice of cake and some time away from the elements outside. It’s also the time of year when people feel most isolated and lonely, particularly those who are facing illnesses like cancer.

What it’s all about
If you feel that you could pull your community, neighbours, family and friends, work colleagues - whoever - together, then this would be the perfect event for you. It can be as tiny, or as large as you want.
Some supporters have hosted one instead of a birthday party for close friends and family, while others have held one at social groups they attend to engage a larger number of people.
Whatever it looks like, however you do it - every single event will make a huge difference to our work, enabling us to continue helping the thousands of people feeling isolated by cancer every year. Helping people like Sara, below.
Our wonderful Community Ambassadors, Rebecca and Karl from the Wildflower Illustrations Company have helped us to create this event by providing the wonderful illustrations for our event materials. They are also offering one of their gorgeous letter writing packs as a prize for a draw for anyone who raises over £200 from their event to be entered into.
