‘Yours’ magazine article

Our Co-founders, Alison Hitchcock and Brian Greenley, have shared their story with Yours magazine (published Monday 3rd October) - enjoying a double page spread on how From Me to You started and how Alison’s letters kept Brian going as he faced bowel cancer.

We always receive such a huge response to the media coverage we get - with people coming forward to both request our letters and offer to write through our Donate A Letter programme.

Although we’ve told our story many times, it’s always a joy to hear from new people who are excited at what we’re doing to connect with people facing cancer. If you’ve read the article and want to get involved in our work (donating or receiving letters, organising or attending letter writing workshops, or raising funds for us), we’d love to hear from you.

We know it’s only together that we can continue to help people, so the more people involved, the better.

We are also hoping that this article might help us with our Big Letter Write Campaign to generate more donated letters in the month of October to meet the increase in demand for our letters (up 25% from last year).

If you’d like to take part, but don’t know where to start, we have two FREE online letter writing inspiration sessions with Alison that you can book on for;

  1. Evening session - 19th October, 7pm

  2. Lunchtime session - 24th October, 12.30pm

And, our Autumnal letter writing prompts are also great for when you have writer’s block…
