What’s brewing in the community?

We’re loving being sent updates and pictures of people holding From Me to Brew fundraising events for us across the country.

From travel brand Expedia hosting one at their London Head Office, to Blandford Museum in Dorset creating a garden party and flower sale for theirs; to schools, community groups and individuals hosting events for all to enjoy. Just amazing!

With summer weather (hopefully) upon us soon, the garden party theme could be an inspiration to those wanting to hold their event during the summer months. Unfortunately one of the only things our free event pack doesn’t include is a guarantee for nice weather!

If you’d like to host a From Me to Brew event for us, simply request your free pack here and we’ll post out. Here’s what you get…

What it’s all about

Although From Me to Brew is based around the idea of gathering people together for tea and cake to raise funds for our work, it can be whatever you want it to be. Whether it’s a cake sale during your lunch break at work, or an alternative anniversary / birthday celebration at home with family. Or, maybe you want to do something bigger and involve your community / school / social group.

Whatever it looks like, however you do it - every single event will make a huge difference to our work, enabling us to continue helping the thousands of people feeling isolated by cancer every year. Helping people like Sara, below.

Our wonderful Community Ambassadors, Rebecca and Karl from the Wildflower Illustrations Company have helped us to create this event by providing the wonderful illustrations for our event materials. They are also offering one of their gorgeous letter writing packs as a prize for a draw for anyone who raises over £200 from their event to be entered into.

How to get involved
