#FiveForFive fundraiser
As you might have heard, we’re celebrating our 5th birthday this month, and we just want to take a moment to revel in the all the glorious ways our community has already go involved with our #FiveForFive fundraising campaign.
We set the challenge at the start of March with a simple focus - do five of something and then donate £5 to us. We’ve suggested things like writing five letters, phone five friends, run 5km, walk five miles, bake five cookies… or even hugging five trees as our lovely post box friend did!
This campaign will support the additional requests we're receiving every day for letters. Since our new website went live last month we have seen a huge increase in the number of people signing up to write and receive letters. The #FiveForFive will help us raise money to pay for the additional letter writing kits needed and to ensure the donated letters are distributed as needed to those living with cancer.
There have been so many brilliant challenges so far! From the beautiful sets of five letters we’ve received, to the five acts of kindness. From five songs sung in the shower, to five pancakes flipped and eaten! From knitted hearts and premature baby hats that will go on to support others to getting the kids involved with running challenges. We appreciate every single one of you for finding beautiful ways to support us.
We’re not even half way through the month and we’re over the half way point for this fundraiser, and we can’t wait to see what else our community can come up with! Once you’ve completed your your Five For Five challenge - please do tag us on social media with #FiveForFive and donate your £5 here.
