And now the Prime Minister has written a letter!

Brian and Alison's work has been recognised by the Prime Minister and the pair have been honoured with a Point Of Light Award. And they're chuffed!

Point Of Light Awards are given by the Prime Minister to individuals making a change in the community. The Department of Media, Culture & Sport have been speaking to us all year about our work and recently decided that we should be nominated for an award.

As part of the award, we have received a letter from The PM. In it she says,

'Your personal story has inspired hundreds of supportive letters to be written to those suffering from cancer. By creating the 'From Me to You' project, you are making a real difference to people's lives through friendships and providing comfort in a time of great need.'
